Hailing from Wales you would expect Adzuki 's to slip right out of the current scenes post hardcore mould. But this could not be further from the truth. Foregoing the usual uniformity of Neanderthal, bludgeoning riffery and tuneless screaming, Adzuki have managed to combine a solid musical intensity with potent melody and infectious lyricism.

Late last year the quartet released their debut 'Five/Four' EP on Might Atom Records (Funeral For A Friend, 3 Colours Red, Electric Eel Shock etc) that brought much critical acclaim and saw them support the likes of Hell is For Heroes and Fightstar.

This year Adzuki (who impressively average 18 years of age) have made memorable appearances at Denmark's Sonic and Germany's Berlinova Rock festivals and embarked on a nationwide tour. On November 7th the band will release a second EP 'Quiet Sounds and Simple Actions' through Half Inch Originals which further demonstrates the band's ability to write intelligent impassioned rock music that far surpasses their years.

'Quiet Sounds and Simple Actions' features an exclusive bonus track remix of 'We're Not What You Think We Are' by Go Home Productions (Kasabian, Gang of Four and U2) which a pre-release edition is already being give support by Eddy Temple-Morris on his XFM show.

Track listing is as follows:

1. Perfect Numbers
2. We're Not What You Think We Are
3. Feel Like Space
4. Quiet Sounds and Simple Actions
Bonus Track - We're Not What You Think We Are (GHP Remix)
